Welcome to the Hill & Dale District of Garden Clubs!

Our Garden Club District is looking for new members!

Hill & Dale District of Garden Clubs is a dynamic gathering of individual clubs who share a love of gardening. Members bring a wide range of interests, talents and experience levels to the group, and we enjoy sharing and learning from each other, as well as from our varied speakers.

If you enjoy gardening, landscaping and designing with flowers, we are a district you will enjoy!
We have meetings in September, November, March & May on the 4th Tuesday from 10am-2pm.
No one needs to be a master at any of the above just have a love and appreciation of the beauty around us.

We are a member of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs, Pacific Region Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs.
We have 8 clubs in Pierce County and are always looking for new members. Our District Meetings are held quarterly with Horticulture and Design Flower Shows you may enter, as well as 2 programs on many varied subjects. Contact the District Director, Rachel Jennings, raejenrae@aol.com for more information. There are 9 districts in Washington State with over 130 Garden Clubs.
The Pacific Region State Garden Clubs is made up of the states Washington, Arizona, California, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.
National Garden Clubs is the largest non-profit organization of gardeners in the world with nearly
190,000 members and 6,000 clubs.

There are many activities in which you may participate.  We hold a wonderful annual workshop in March or April, that features two morning and one afternoon programs guaranteed to peak everyone’s interest.
We sponsor the Floral Building at the Pierce County Fair in Graham every August, hostessing and helping with the children's planting table. Be sure to bring all the little ones and get their interest in gardening started.
